螺杆真空泵是利用一对螺杆在泵壳中作同歩髙速反向旋转而产生的吸气和排气作用的抽气设备，会应用在尘土较为多的场地，那么对螺杆真空泵开展吹扫是较为基本的工作

一、清理吹扫

螺杆真空泵的清理吹扫主要用于抽除浸蚀、有害或者浓稠物，比如：树酯类物质

清理吹扫通常在停泵前，关掉螺杆真空泵的进风口闸阀，并在进风口充进氢气或水蒸汽后运行20～30分钟，对螺杆真空泵腔体丝杆开展吹扫，清理腔体残余的工序汽体或表层黏附的浓稠有机物

二、制冷吹扫

制冷吹扫用以丝杆定子及螺杆真空泵內部腔体的制冷

螺杆真空泵工作时，进风口吸进的工序汽体随着丝杆定子的旋转被缩小并送至出气口，缩小流程中汽体温度上升，这就需要用制冷吹扫来维护螺杆真空泵不因为超温而被卡死一般气体会被用于制冷吹扫物质，但在独特状况下则用氢气或制冷后的工序汽体做为吹扫物质。在螺杆真空泵的出气口周边安裝有个过滤装置来吸进气体以保持制冷吹扫

三、封口吹扫

封口吹扫是用氢气充压于螺杆真空泵的后端盖内，促使工序汽体或液体不进到配有齿轴及承轴的发动机盖
